I have a query regarding my child's technical development — what should I do?

Reach out directly to the relevant Head of Program (HoP), who is best placed to discuss their progress, areas for growth, and development goals. If you'd like a more formal review, you can request a parent-coach meeting through the club office. Parents should avoid approaching any of the coaching staff directly but an SMS should be sent to the HoP to request a meeting.

What happens if my child misses a training session or match?

We monitor attendance of training and matchdays closely. We do understand that there may be instances where these events are missed due to illness, injury or other important events. Where possible, the Team Manager must be notified in advance, and the RSVP made within the SportFlare app.

What are the club's fees, and are payment plans available?

Season fees vary by age group and are published on the website ahead of each registration period. The club understands that costs can be a barrier and is happy to discuss flexible payment arrangements — please contact the club office confidentially.

My child is being considered for a representative or trials opportunity — who do I speak to?

Speak with your relevant Head of Program in the first instance. Selection for representative pathways is managed in coordination with the club's technical staff, and we encourage parents to ask questions openly so we can guide your child in the right direction.

How does the club handle concerns about player welfare or behaviour on and off the field?

Western City Rangers FC takes player welfare very seriously. If you have a concern about your child's wellbeing, conduct from others, or any on-field behaviour, please contact the club's designated welfare officer or the club office directly. All matters are handled with care and confidentiality.
